A customer who has a checking account open and in good standing can apply for Internet Online Bill Payment Service.

Eureka Savings Bank may obtain a Consumer Credit Report before approval/denial of the Bill Payment Application.

Bill Payment and Presentment Service

Bill Payment and Presentment permits you to use your Online Banking to direct payments from your designated on line Bill Pay Accounts to third parties. You may designate more than one checking account to Pay your bills from.

Through Bill Payment and Presentment, you may also have your Bills electronically sent to your Internet Banking access.

The Service will not process any payments less than $1.00 or greater than $9,999.99.

Payments you wish to make through this Service must be payable in U.S. dollars to a payee located in the continental United States. We reserve the right to restrict or limit the number of transactions processed through this Service from time to time.

The following on line payments are not covered by the Bill Payment Guarantee mentioned later in this document: Securities Purchase, Payments to interest bearing accounts, Tax payments, or Court ordered payments (e.g. alimony or child support payments). You should not use the Bill Payments Service to make the above mentioned payments. Payments, additional fees, fines, penalties or other losses associated with payments to the payees above that are delayed or improperly addressed or credited are your sole responsibility.

The Service will generate your payment on the date you designate. The Service will process your payment either:

Once a payment is processed on the Payment Initiation date the payee will generally receive the payment within five (5) banking business days for an electronic payments and seven (7) banking business days if the payee is paid by paper check.

You must schedule the Payment Initiation Date at least five (5) Business Days for Electronic Payments or seven (7) Business Days for Payments made by check, before any Payment Due Date (that is, the due date shown on your invoice or provided in your agreement with the payee, not taking into account any applicable grace period). If you do not, you will be fully responsible for all late fees, finance charges or other action taken by the payee.

The Bill Pay Service will generate an ACH debit (in the amount of the bill payment) to your designated checking account. Your checking account will be debited within two banking business days. Funds must be available in your checking account.

If your Bill Pay Account does not have sufficient available funds to make a payment, the Service will charge you a $30.00 NSF fee and Eureka Savings Bank may also charge you a $30.00 NSF fee. You will be notified by e mail or U.S. Postal Mail, but Eureka Savings Bank shall have no obligation or liability if it does not complete a transfer or payment because there are insufficient funds available. The Service may attempt to withdraw the funds from your designated Bill Pay account a maximum of 3 times. The Service may Block your designated Bill Pay account from future scheduled payments until there are sufficient funds in your account.

A payment may be edited or deleted anytime before the payment is processed by using the payment screens in the Bill Payment Service. Payments remitted electronically cannot be stopped by using the payment screens in the Bill Payment Service.

If you ask to cancel a payment after it is issued and the Service agrees to do so, you will be charged a stop payment fee of $25.00.

Bill Payment Guarantee

Eureka Savings Bank reserves the right to refuse any transaction if the Bank believes such refusal is necessary for security reasons, without any liability for damages or fees. However, if we do not properly complete a transfer to or from your account on time or in the correct amount according to our agreement with you, we will reimburse you for any late payment fees or penalties you are charged up to a maximum of $50.00 per scheduled payment.
